National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch sets its development goals as cutting-edge medical care, precision care, and innovative services. It aims to enhance medical quality, strengthen teaching and research capabilities, and implement smart medical care to establish a resilient and sustainable hospital, providing people with the most reassuring medical services.
The primary objective of this biobank is to support medical researchers in conducting cancer research. All specimens are collected from patients at our hospital.
The operation of the database includes collecting tissue and blood specimens, integrating relevant clinical information, and providing various services related to tissue research.
To ensure the stability of specimen quality, the facility provides 24-hour monitoring and storage equipment. Additionally, all cancer specimens require individuals to sign the "Human Biodata Database Participant Consent Form," enabling legal provision of cancer specimens and clinical medical information from the database for biomedical research purposes.
