Since 2006, our hospital has implemented both “Landseed Integrated Outreaching Neighborhood Screening”(LIONS) and “Community Health Screening Blood Bank Research” projects to monitor the health status of three major ethnic groups (i.e., Hakka, Minnan, and Mainlanders) in the region; In 2014, we eventually set up the “Landseed International Hospital Biobank”, according to the “Human Biobank Management Act” of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, thus contributing to cross-generational health care through the joint cooperation between community health care, hospital medical care education and research.
