菲律賓肺中心（The Lung Center of the Philippines, LCP） 參訪國家衛生研究院人體生物資料庫以及國家級人體生物資料庫整合平台，促進雙方人體生物資料庫與肺部疾病研究的合作
2025年2月24日來自菲律賓肺中心的代表團蒞臨國家衛生研究院竹南院區進行學術交流。本次訪問旨在加強雙方在人體生物資料庫（Biobank）建置、肺部疾病研究及轉譯醫學方面的合作，共同推動亞太地區的肺癌與肺部疾病研究。
菲律賓肺中心成立於1981年，為菲律賓國家級專門研究與治療肺部疾病的醫學機構。該中心集臨床治療、教育訓練與研究於一體，致力於改善肺部健康，特別是在結核病（TB）、慢性阻塞性肺病（Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease, COPD）、氣喘與肺癌等領域具有豐富經驗。肺中心Biobank是其近年來發展的重要基礎設施，專注於肺部疾病的基因與環境因素研究，並與國際機構合作以提升菲律賓在全球肺部疾病研究中的貢獻。
代表團於上午抵達國衛院後，首先由院方介紹竹南院區的研究環境，隨後重點參訪國衛院Biobank。國衛院生物樣本庫自2005年以來，致力於建立台灣地區肝癌與肺癌研究資料庫，截至2023年底，已累積11,250例肝臟腫瘤與7,752例肺臟腫瘤患者樣本，提供91,560個肝癌檢體及9,256個肺癌檢體供國內外學術研究使用。這些珍貴的研究資源對於解析肺癌的發病機制與治療策略提供了重要的支持。
菲律賓肺中心的 Dr. Treah May S. Sayo 介紹了該中心的生物樣本庫運作模式，並強調樣本收集在肺結核（TB）與肺癌領域研究中的重要性。雙方討論了未來在生物樣本交換、標準化數據管理以及國際合作計畫上的可能性。
下午，雙方於國衛院第六會議室舉行聯合研討會，與會人員包括國衛院許惠恒副院長及菲律賓肺中心副執行長 Dr. Eileen G. Aniceto。研討會上，菲律賓肺中心 Dr. Norberto A. Francisco 介紹了該機構的研究重點，隨後 Dr. Treah May S. Sayo 分享其生物樣本庫的發展與應用。國衛院Biobank生物醫學主管黃秀芬研究員級主治醫師亦詳細介紹了台灣Biobank的運作模式。
會中，雙方學者進行了多場學術報告，包括：

台灣氣喘研究聯盟（Consortium for Taiwan Asthma Study）——探討氣喘異質性、環境風險與基因易感性之間的因果關係（國衛院國家環境醫學黃嘯谷名譽研究員）。

單細胞多組學分析於結核病後遺症及結核病-愛滋病共感染研究的應用（Dr. Heidie F. Cabanos）。
-
後GWAS研究：標靶Neuromedin U 訊號調控以克服EGFR-TKI 內在抗藥性（國衛院癌症研究所江士昇副研究員）。
與會學者針對研究成果進行熱烈討論，並探討未來合作可能性，包括跨國肺癌基因研究、氣喘與肺部疾病生物標誌物分析，以及生物樣本共享機制。
本次菲律賓肺中心訪問國衛院，不僅深化了雙方在Biobank建置與肺部疾病研究上的交流，也為未來跨國合作奠定基礎。透過資源共享與學術合作，國衛院與菲律賓肺中心將攜手推動肺癌、氣喘及結核病等領域的精準醫學發展，造福亞太地區的病患與臨床應用。
此次訪問展現了國衛院在國際醫學研究合作中的積極角色，也進一步鞏固了台灣在肺部疾病研究領域的國際影響力。
